The Foreign Ministry released on Saturday an official statement on its website in response to the latest developments in Syria, following strikes led by the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
“Indonesia calls on all parties to show restraint and prevent the situation in Syria deteriorating further. Indonesia underlines the need for all parties to respect international law and norms, in particular the UN Charter on international peace and security,” stated the ministry on its official website.
